Participation by the Managing Director Abdul Rahman Mt Dali and Mr Zaim Shaari                Humanitarian relief by Aman Palestine worth USD100, 000 is reported to have safely arrived in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border last Sunday morning, July 4, 2010 in accordance with the latest developments issued by Ikhwanweb. Palestinian Peace Delegation humanitarian convoy, led by Executive Chairman, who is also President of Isma, Ustaz Abdullah Zaik Abdul Rahman was also accompanied by Mr. Abdul Rahman Mt Dali (Managing Director of Pusat Rawatan Islam Azzahrah, cum-Deputy President of ISMA, and Mr Zaim Shaari who is also one of AZIM's Director and Head of Human Resources and Special Tasks.  It is unfortunate that they did not obtain permission to cross the Gaza-Egypt border due to communication problems. Humanitarian relief provided are basic needs, including medicines and milk for children. Even though they were not able to enter Gaza this time, it did not discourage the delegates to continuously monitor and ensure that all contributions from Malaysians, safely reached the needy people of Palestine. Here's the full report issued by Ikhwanweb: Malaysian aid convoy arrives in Gaza Strip Relief aid and medicines from the Aman Palestine Institute in Malaysia with an estimated worth of $100,000US arrived in Gaza on Sunday morning via the Egyptian Rafah crossing. The relief aid was accompanied by a delegation including 12 Malaysian notable personalities, consisting of representatives of Malaysian NGOs and television journalists, who were not granted permission to pass the crossing as a result of failure of coordination, according to the Egyptian crossing administration. Head of the Aman Palestine Institute in Malaysia, Abdullah Zeek, who is still waiting on clearance from the Egyptian government to enter the Gaza Strip, stated that the aid is reassurance to the Palestinian people that they are not isolated from the Islamic world, adding that the Malaysian people have a strong interest in the Palestinian cause and provide ongoing support for the people under siege in the Gaza Strip. For his part, Omar Siam, Executive Director of the Bureau of Aman Palestine in Gaza, confirmed that the aid arrived in Gaza, noting that it will be distributed to the needy and to medical institutions in the Strip.
