Visitor Guide
Our hospital practices the Shariah-Friendly Hospital concept, which prioritises patient comfort, especially in fulfilling religious obligations and maintaining modesty. Therefore:
- Only husband, wife, parents, or legal guardians are allowed to accompany patients.
- Non-mahram individuals are not allowed to accompany patients.
- After visiting hours, husbands or wives are not allowed to stay overnight in the ward except in single rooms.
- Female patients may be accompanied by female relatives, and male patients by male relatives when sharing a room with other patients.
Visitors at Hospital Islam Az-Zahrah may park in front of the hospital using Majlis Perbandaran Kajang (MPKJ) parking coupons. Visitors may also use mobile parking apps such as “Flexi Parking 2.0” and make payment via e-wallet or online payment.
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the hospital premises in accordance with regulations set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
1. Only ONE CAREGIVER is allowed per patient at any one time.
2. For paediatric patients under 12 years old, two CAREGIVER are allowed only for single-room admissions.
3. Pertukaran CAREGIVER changes are allowed, but a negative RTK Ag test is required for each new caregiver.
4. Any CAREGIVER change must be informed to the ward staff.
5. Single Room: Only 2 VISITORS are allowed at one time.
6. Double Room: Only 1 VISITORS are allowed at one time.
7. Only VISITORS with an official visitor pass from Hospital Islam Az-Zahrah are allowed.
8. Completion of COVID-19 risk acknowledgment form is required.
9. Visitors must show no COVID-19 symptoms.
10. Visiting hours are from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
11. VISITORS are not allowed to be present during medical procedures.
12. VISITORS or CAREGIVER must use Lift B to access the ward and are restricted to assigned ward areas only.
1. VISITORS or CAREGIVER must wear face masks at all times within the hospital.
2. VISITORS or CAREGIVER Maintain hygiene practices:
a. Hand hygiene before entering and leaving rooms
b. Proper cough etiquette (cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing)
3. Maintain physical distancing of at least 1 metre.
4. VISITORS or CAREGIVER Movement within healthcare facilities must be kept to a minimum.
5. VISITORS or CAREGIVER are not allowed during aerosol-generating procedures (AGP) such as intubation.
6. Patients are not allowed to leave the ward or hospital unless officially discharged or permitted.
